Pair of Pears

Mostly Maura drooled on the pear.

And Daddy ate it.

Howdy Part'ners

Thank you Judy, Laurel, Rachael and Becky for our new hat and hobby horse!

We tried the hat on as soon as the package arrived.

Showing off some of our lasso tricks.

Taking the pony back to the barn.

Lounging back at the milk saloon after a long day of riding.

Waking Up

This is how I find Maura after about fifty percent of her naps.  She's either playing like this or crying like she has no idea where she is or why i abandoned her there.  This is much more fun for both of us.

The Tiniest Hostess

Maura hosted a birthday party for her Aunt Bebs this past weekend.  She helped daddy make another whoopie pie cake- this time banana cake with nutella buttercream filling.  (There are a lot of fun whoopie pie recipes on the internet.)  Rebecca's friends Marley, Lee and Little Miss C. came over to help celebrate.  Happy Birthday, Bebs!

Surprise!  It's a party!

January Fun

We were all sick through most of January but we still managed to have some fun.

Wearing her first official EC apparel

Sitting in her bumbo

Even with baby laryngitis she can laugh at daddy.

Happy Birthday to Mommy

Jason and Maura gave me a really nice birthday including a giant whoopie pie cake!  (Thanks to Mel, Jim and Graham for the whoopie pie pan.)  Super yummy.

Over the River and Through the Woods...

We headed north for the Christmas holiday and had great times with all the family.  Here are a few shots from our travels.

Wearing her first red velvet Christmas dress to church Christmas Eve.  (Thank you Nanna!)

Meeting her cousin Baby Hannah for the first time.

Posing with Graham.  (I think the camera flash was killing him.)

Graham documenting the holidays with his new camera.

Snuggling up with Grandpa before we head back to Virginia.
